Safety
Hitting the road is one of the most enjoyable activity you can do with car rental. But, long ones are better when someone is with you to keep you safe. For safety reasons, and especially on long trips (2 hrs or more) never travel alone. In case of an accident, you have a witness and you are stronger in numbers curing the car rental. Hiking, sightseeing, etc… are safer too when you have travelling companions.
Share the Cost
At Globe, many of our clients opt to go places and do things in pairs and often up to 5 or 7 people renting a vehicle. This way, the cost is split equally making a weekend trip for 3 days cost $40 or less for the car rental cost including fees, taxes, etc… Learn how we save you money.
Comfort
The comfort of knowing someone is with you gives you peace of mind. If you become ill or injured on the trip, the additional driver can comfort you and take over. Also, you can work on your laptop or iPad, answer emails, watch a movie or text loved ones with comfort as a passenger. You can then take turns!

Sometimes you want to be alone, but often trips are memorable with additional drivers making things smoother and more enjoyable. With the option for one, two or more drivers, you gain freedom to switch the responsibility of driving to the rest of the companions. Falling asleep
Nowadays, some vehicles have sensors to alert you to stop or take a coffee break when it senses the car being wobbly or due to certain behaviors. This feature was conceived due to so many accidents (including fatal ones) occurring as a direct result from drivers falling asleep on the wheel while driving.
